Shea Renne is a proud Filipino actor based in New York City. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Shea has performed on Broadway and in various regional theaters around the country.
She is currently in rehearsals for GATSBY: An American Myth, which will open at the American Repertory Theater on June 5, 2024. The production is directed by Rachel Chavkin, with music by Florence Welch and Thomas Bartlett, lyrics by Florence Welch, book by Martyna Majok, and choreography by Sonya Tayeh.
Shea was in the first national tour of HADESTOWN as a Fate, and understudied the role of Persephone. She continued the same roles in the Broadway company of HADESTOWN at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
She was previously in the Broadway musicals HERE LIES LOVE (directed by Alex Timbers, with music by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim), and ALLEGIANCE (directed by Stafford Arima).
